Just a quick update I am running again I may not be running fast but it’s running. As I have no races booked at the moment I am just trying to run for the sake of running, keeping my fitness up and also preparing for our holiday. We are going away for 2 weeks and are hoping to run while in Ibiza. I am enjoying running with no real target and just enjoying every session. We have not been running much distance really we have been running a maximum of 4 miles. We also ran the Weald 10k which was a beautiful 10k just a shame I wasn’t in shape, I have said I want to run it again next year to give it a go the course is not a PB course but I feel wrong leaving a race without giving it a 100% effort.
Running In The Morning
It has been harder getting out to run recently with the nights drawing closer there seems to be less time than ever. I am going to try and run before work once we are back from holiday. The plan is this should free up a lot of time but I am NOT a morning person so it will be a struggle to get out of bed.
Plans For The Winter
My aim for winter is to get faster over 5k hopefully manage a sub 20 which has been a long term target, I also want to improve over 10k and take part in the club cross country. I feel all of my targets should work well with each other.
