Since our last post we have not ran much but I have helped with the Kent roadrunner marathon.
I have also had a long weekend in Ireland to visit family over the bank holiday. Unfortunately I only managed one run while I was over out of the 3 I had planned. Hopefully the sea air has helped me recharge my batteries and get back into running. Hopefully now we are able to run together again we will get back to where we want to be.

Originally this Saturday we had planned to run our second marathon the Kent Roadrunner Marathon. Due to injury and lack of training after the London marathon. I decided it was best to pull out of another marathon so soon. The Kent Roadrunner Marathon will have to go down as a marathon DNS (did not start). I will now be marshaling at the cyclopark Gravesend for the Kent Roadrunner Marathon. Even though I will not be running, I will still be taking part and enjoying every second of race day. There will be a few club runners from our running club that will be taking part on Saturday as well. Hopefully it will be a nice day for all involved and next year. I aim to make the start line and get one of the biggest medals I have ever seen.
Next year you will be mine but for this year I will have to call it a marathon DNS
We do have Harvel 5 booked for the 7th June. The Harvel 5 is a lovely scenic 5 mile route around Harvel, Kent. This race was my first ever race and I am looking forward to running the Harvel 5 again in a few weeks. I am really looking forward to running in Harvel again.
